Education & Academic Experience:

1990- 1993: Doctorate of Medicine in TCM, Shanghai University of Chinese Traditional medical, China, Dissertation: Treatment of gastric cancer with Chinese medicine in clinical and experimental.

1993-1995: Post doctor, Dept. of biochemistry and molecular biology, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Beijing University. Dissertation: Study of mechanism for the anti-cataract effect of traditional Chinese medicine.

1995-1997:  Research assistant, State Key Laboratory of Medical Molecular Biology Institute of Basic Medial Sciences Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (Peking Union Medical College). Research subject: Study of activating gene in B lymphocyte.

1997-1998: Visiting scholar, of Japan longevity fund, Dept. of Immunopathology, WHO Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology. Research subject: Study of the pathogenetic mechanism of autoimmune disease.

2000-   Associate professor, Dept. of pharmacology, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Beijing University.

 

Current Research Subject:

1. A novel peripheral antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory mechanism underlies acting peripheral a7 nicotinic and M4 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor.

2. Possible mechanism of immunosuppressive effect of Iminosugar.

3. Studies on efficacy and property of genuine and non genuine Chinese herbal medicine

4. Anti-aging effect and mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine.
